DASI Simulations Featured in 10TV Story on Accelerating Angels’ Investment in Women-Led Businesses
DASI Simulations was recently featured in a 10TV news segment highlighting the impact of Accelerating Angels, a Dublin-based organization dedicated to investing in and supporting women-led businesses. The story focused on the ongoing funding inequities female founders face and the critical role organizations like Accelerating Angels play in helping innovative companies grow and scale.
Representing DASI Simulations in the feature, CEO and co-founder Teri Sirset shared how Accelerating Angels became one of the earliest investment groups to recognize the potential of DASI’s AI-powered structural heart technology. “It’s been a game changer on two fronts,” Sirset explained during the interview. “Cindy was one of the only angel investment groups that took an interest in DASI and what we were doing.”
As a SaaS-based med-tech company focused on improving structural heart procedure planning through advanced AI simulations, DASI was at a critical point in its growth journey when the investment arrived. The funding provided the team with the resources needed to acquire equipment, continue development, and take the next step toward commercialization.
“The investment came right when we were running out of money,” Sirset shared. “This wouldn’t have been possible without Cindy and Accelerating Angels.”
Beyond the financial investment, Sirset emphasized the importance of the encouragement and belief the Accelerating Angels team brought to DASI during a pivotal stage of growth. The 10TV segment also highlighted Accelerating Angels’ broader mission to help close the investment gap for women entrepreneurs and increase female equity ownership in growing companies.
DASI Simulations is honored to be part of a community working to advance innovation, entrepreneurship, and opportunity for women-led businesses solving meaningful problems in healthcare and beyond.
