Dr. Lilly specializes in procedural therapies for coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, and heart failure. Many of the patients he has treated include those patients who have heart conditions that may require therapies that are not even available yet, but he believes a multi-disciplinary team of medical providers can provide patients access to effective and innovative therapies. He is considered a pioneer in the use of advanced modeling and simulations to guide transcatheter aortic valve replacements as he and the OSU Wexner Medical Center are one of the first and remain one of the few centers to utilize this pre-procedure simulations process.

Dr. Michael Mack is a world-renowned physician and considered a pioneer in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. He currently serves as the medical director of cardiothoracic surgery for Baylor Scott & White Health and the chairman of the BSW the Heart Hospital – Plano Research Center. Dr. Mack has served as President of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) and the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery. He has authored or co-authored over 400 publications and was awarded in 2014 the TCT Career Achievement Award.

Dr. Hoda Hatoum is currently an assistant professor of Biomedical Engineering at Michigan Technological University. She obtained her PhD degree from the Ohio State University (OSU). She was awarded the American Heart Association postdoctoral fellowship and right after graduation, she completed her postdoctoral training at the Ohio State University and at Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on tackling the complexity of: (a) structural heart biomechanics (adult and congenital); (b) patient-specific cardiovascular model development and in-vitro testing; (c) prosthetic heart valve engineering (surgical and transcatheter); (d) structure-function relationships of the heart in health and disease at the pediatric and adult stages; and (e) turbulence in blood flow in relation to blood damage. Dr. Hatoum has two patents filed on minimizing likelihood of leaflet thrombosis and on a novel implantable vascular shunt with real-time precise flow control. Dr. Hatoum received several recognitions including three invited talks at the Heart Valve Society and World Congress of Biomechanics, and she was a finalist in the American College of Cardiology Young Investigator Award competition in 2021.
